Please update to iOS 13.
Do a long press on the mission save to clear the cached data and try it again. There might be a conflict with previously stored data.

"Please update to iOS 13."
Seriously?
Yes, Dave. Seriously. There were a ton of things that changed when iOS 13 came out. There are certainly things that happened in iOS 12 that are very different in iOS 13 in the name of privacy. One of these things was how files are stored. A lot of this was fine in version 13.0 when it came out and we tested against the advance release betas only to have them changed quickly for the iOS 13.1 release which was about 3 days later... There was basically no longer a way to handle legacy data that had gone through certain upgrade paths.
Apple messed this release up badly because they were touching so many low level things in the operating system. It was super sloppy but but things have stabilized as of 13.3.
13.4 will actually go back and fix some graphics stuff (high CPU use, flashing) that is present in all previous versions of 13.
We no longer test against 12 at all because all of our devices eventually got bumped up to 13 for various compatibility tests.
This experience is widespread.
So, yes, it is time to update.
Okay. I'll have to give it some consideration then. I am still using MP 4.1.5 on ios 12 without issue. Over on the DD forum, there are still issues that I believe are caused by ios 13. Particularly the high cpu use issue. A couple of guys have reported that their tablets with fresh batteries are drained after flying a P4P for 8 batteries. Last time I used MP, I went through 6 batteries with minimal power usage on the tablet, maybe 25%. Perhaps after ios 13.4.
The IOS 12 is very good but there is a lot of issues in IOS 13!
The current list of iOS 13.3.1 problems includes installation problems, issues with first and third-party apps, UI lag, random reboots, abnormal battery drain, Exchange issues, issues with Touch ID and Face ID, and a variety of other bugs and performance issues.
I wish I didn't do the 4.1.7 update!
Can I downgrade MapPilot Business to an old version like 4.1.5?
Did you delete it and then reinstalled it? The issue may have to do with updating but it will work as a fresh installation. There is no way to downgrade to older versions of the app.
Thanks Zane.
After updating and reseting all contents and settings and reinstalling Map Pilot app, the problem for downloading base map solved now.
We are glad you got it working. Thank you for the follow up.
I started a new boundry to save it as a project.
The MP app show 867 tiles, but it can't save all tiles in one time! I tried for 3 times to save all tiles! you can see in video.
And next problem, when I deleted only a project from this area, you can see my all 3 projects erased!!! 04:53 in video.
That is too big of an area to download all at once. Break it up a bit.
The 3 missions are being deleted because they are all being created in one shot with no modifications between them so they have the same internal uuid. If you made one, saved it, modified it, saved it, modified it and saved it that wouldn't happen.
