It would be really great to have a measuring facility in Map Pilot.
This would help greatly when planning missions to ensure the legal 50 meter clearance required to buildings.
We have tried it but it isn't super useful. The stock Apple Maps scale appears in the top left corner. It's placement is goofy and would require major layout changes to accommodate for minimal benefit to the user. We decided to scrap it.

We will look into adding it in a future release. It will be the same scale that is in the Apple Maps app.
+1 for ruler. Just a simple scale bar will be very handy as well.
