Yes, but make sure you are using Connectionless mode if you worry about your signal dropping out. This will allow the aircraft to do the triggering instead of the app.
Also, if you are out of range when the aircraft decides to come back for another battery an Abandonment Point (blue dot) will not be dropped to tell you where to go back to so it is best to try to maintain the connection as best you can.
