Map Pilot Crashes when uploading to Phantom 4 Pro v2

Hi,

I've been using Map Pilot with a Phantom 4 Pro v2 since last September and it has worked perfectly until the most recent update that was released around January 11. Now whenever I try to upload a mission it very briefly opens the option where you can choose if you want to use Terrain awareness and then the app suddenly closes. I can't figure out what the problem is so I think it's related to the recent app update.

The firmware is up to date on the Phantom 4 v2 and it works fine with the DJI Go4 app. I'm running Map Pilot on an iPhone 7 with iOS 11.4.1

Has anyone else using Map Pilot with the Phantom 4 v2 had any similar problems since the app update?

Please update to 3.0.5 and update your iOS device to iOS 12.1.

Thanks Zane,

the Map Pilot for DJI was already 3.0.5. I updated my iPhone to iOS 12.1.2. Tested Map Pilot with both my Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro v2 drones and the missions upload fine now. I'll let you know if any other issues occur.

Thank you for the follow up. This seems to be related to that whole thing with Apple slowing down devices based on the age of their batteries. The took that out for a bit and it seems that it just allows apps the crash when they need a lot of CPU. Our crash analytics show that there were tons of crashes on iOS 11 due to "CPU Usage". iOS 12 must handle this better since we don't see any of those types of crashes after the update.
