Settings used in saved missions.

Does recalling a saved mission always show "Remember: The mission was designed with a maximum speed of 15.0 and no battery timer." regardless of what flight speed was set to in Settings? The survey statistics pullout shows the max speed at 6.0 m/s I think 5.0 m/s is what I had set in Settings when I made the mission. Which made me have another question; is there a way to check the imaging settings of a saved mission (overlap...)?
I aslo noticed that in a new mission changing altitude changes the max speed in the survey window. I didn't notice this before. Is the max speed in Settings just for flight to and from mission and max speed of mission purely based on altitude? Sorry for so many questions in a single post.

If you change your battery timer or the maximum speed in the settings, those changes will be reflected in that warning regardless of the current settings. Valid layouts are very different depending on those settings and they travel with the saved mission.

We know it is hard to judge the set max speed since there is no direct value in the setting. You can check it by looking at the Flight Plan Stats window when you first open Create New Mission. That value is the value that is set in the settings.

I guess we should put the overlap in that warning too...

The max speed is the limit. The lower you fly, the slower it will go in order to maintain the 1 frame per 2.5 seconds framing speed.

Yes, in the future try to keep it to one question per post. These were semi related though.

Ok. Just so I'm clear, whatever is in the current Settings will be used for the mission (when I send it to UAV) regardless of what was in the Settings when I created the mission.

YES, for overlap, battery timer and max speed. Current operational settings will reflect the current state of the settings.
