best technique for scan of home and property

I bought a DJI Air 2S to use Maps Made Easy to get a map of my property, ½ acre- it's 120 miles away.  The map will probably about 2 acres total area.  It's one story on somewhat hilly terrain in the desert with some Joshua Trees.  I want to make a topo map that I can also use to make roof and property measurements for roof solar installation.  I did a test locally at 40' elevation "above takeoff level" and "accommodate terrain"- not bad.  Just wondering if I can get some tips for best results before I take the trip to do the scan.  Thanks, Kip......

Use 80% overlap. Lay the mission out the way you want before you go while disconnected from the aircraft. Save it. Then run it in the simulator with Airplane Mode turned on to check if you have everything you need for operation out in the field.

That's pretty much it!

You can use whatever altitude you want. 60 meters is the default. That gives roughly 2.5 cm/pixel. Flying higher gives you less detail but allows you to cover a larger area.

You already covered the Terrain Awareness part, which we always recommend doing if not in flat terrain.
