Map Pilot App Battery Consumption

Hi;

It is noticed that the Map Pilot App is dramatically consuming my new iPad (mini 4) or iPhone 6 Batteries which as you know cannot be charged thru the Remote Controller of the P3P while executing the mission. So; is there a way to reduce such huge consumption while in the field ?

DJI has added a lot of behind the scenes logging that seems to be hogging CPU and battery. This is not something we can turn off. 

Please feel free to make noise about this on their forums. It has really become a problem for users of older devices.
