Flight pullout missing, “finds” aircraft multiple times, sometimes “uninitialized”…bugs!

Hi,

Same issues below have been popping up repeatedly. shutting down and restart has sometimes fixed, now stuck…

Flight and save plan pullouts, everything in the top right corner is missing. No flight paths. No save function. Etc.

Finds the mavic 2, camera pullout slides in… then it “finds” the mavic 2 again.

Often  claims “Aircraft error: uninitialized drone”…

I have used this drone an ipad on a number of missions lately, including this morning. I have, however, had to shut down restart the ipad to get the one this afternoon to work. And now it won’t work at all. Have also deleted the app and redownloaded but nothing changed except my number of allowed devices decreases by one each time.

not sure if it’s related, but on the last flight it kept flashing “sd storage error” (or something like that) at the top of the map throughout the flight. At the end, no photos were dropped. Time set to 2.5s. Just redid intervalometer test and got 60 images in 2 min. So not sure why those errors, if it’s related?

Separate fyi, can’t sign into this forum on Chrome iOS, had to use Safari.

iOS up to date, Mavic 2 firmware up to date, aircraft fully connected with no errors on dji go 4. let me know if you need anything else.

I have screenshots.

Thanks!

Make sure all other drone related apps are FULLY closed when using Map Pilot Pro. If you have more than one open it will cause lots of issues.

This sounds like it could be related to a bad cable connection or something. Multiple connection attempts certainly shouldn't be happening. But this isn't something we have had any other reports of from other users.

The stuff in the top right corner won't show up until the aircraft is connected and it has a solid GPS fix. It is for taking off (or simulating). The mission save button gets appended to the top left flight stats panel.

It sounds like you are forgetting to either double tap to drop the purple dot for the anticipated takeoff location or are not getting a GPS fix so the red triangle shows up. No flight path will be drawn until the app knows where it will be taking off from.

There is either a hardware issue on the aircraft going on or an issue with the physical connections.

Just tried on my iphone, same issue with some differences.

no longer “uninitialized drone” error on either device. May have been due to updating the geofencing database.

only finds the drone once now.

main issue is the missing flight control panel, save etc in top right, no flight path marked when boundaries are added, no data calculated in the polygon pullout top left.

Thanks.
