I've been a long time user of Map Pilot Pro for drones from the Phantom 4 to the M300. For the M300, I've used the iOS version for several years but recently upgraded to the RC Plus controller (required for L2 LiDAR payload use). Accordingly, I installed the enterprise Android version of MPP directly on the controller. Everything seemed fine, but I ran into issues in the field. I'll continue to troubleshoot, but wanted to see if there were suggestions.
First issue - camera focus failed. I tried switching between MF and AF, manually moving the focus bar to try to force it to focus on infinity, short/long pressing the shutter button to try to force an AF, etc. Nothing worked. Eventually, I just had to land. I tried restarting the controller, etc. but same issue. What did work is I re-opened the DJI Pilot app, switched between MF and AF and did a shutter short/long click to confirm the camera was working, then shut down DJI Pilot and restarted MPP. Then it was good to go.
Second issue - pretty quickly after a mission started (less than 5 minutes), the drone just stopped. Nothing near it so I don't believe it was obstacle avoidance, etc. I could still manually control the drone, but MPP would not take any inputs for the drone itself. I could open/close sidebars within MPP so the app was not frozen, but when I tried to Pause the mission, nothing happened (I figured maybe I could pause and restart the mission, but no luck). Since I couldn't pause it, it did not record a resume point either.
