Mapping river 300 RTK Thermal

Hi,

We need to survey a 40 km river in north of Quebec to analyse water temperature for salmon.

We have a Matrice 300 RTK with H20 T.

Any idea how we should plan this mission ?

Collect the data with 20% overlap.

Use the IsoThermal settings to keep the coloration consistent. 

With the M300/H20T you can set the upper and lower thresholds for the IsoThermal. Set the lower to 20 C below the water temp and the upper to 20-40 C above the ambient air temp. 

Water doesn't do super well with thermal sensors because it will pick up a bit of a reflection. 

You will need a Pro subscription to process the data.

We now have a beta going with preliminary M300 support for the H20 and H20T cameras. 

Download the Test Flight app from the app store and then click the button for step 2 here to gain access.

Make sure you download version 5.0.9. The M300 SDK still has a lot of issues with it and not all controls are present.
