Hey all - unfortunately my FPV view is a solid grey box in Map Pilot. This is particularly disconcerting while flying mapping missions; I can follow the progress of the drone on the map, but it's pretty nerve-wracking to not be able to see from the drone's perspective. Of course in other apps FPV works as expected, and my maps turn out fine from Map Pilot.
Please help!
That feature has been in there since the start and is in the Quick Start video. As the firmware has aged gotten more in it it can take a bit longer to start up and can leave the screen blank occasionally. Especially on the first start up. The quick workaround is to hit the back button and reopen the layout screen to get it to reconnect.
The new version coming out in a few days addresses this issue.

Sorry, this isn't going to answer your question, but I've been using Map Pilot for a year now and I didn't know there was a FPV view. I'm trying to find it. I am on version 2.1.6 build 09052016
Yeah, I didn't realize it at first either - I somehow swiped/clicked and there it was. It is minimizable and lives at the very bottom center of the screen. I didn't realize it was there until after my first mission either! I really hope it works - having FPV in DroneDeploy while mapping really takes an element of stress out.
Fantastic - thanks so much!! Outstanding software and outstanding mapping. Thanks also for the "pay as you go" approach - really makes things easier on those of us who only have occasional need. Looking forward to the update!
