Gimbal overload spline corners

Hi,

Is there a way to change the corners to spline corners when flying missions. Planning rectangular corners causes gimbal overload on my matrice.

We have never heard of this being an issue but there are limited people using the Matrice. The Map Pilot app uses curved corners at all of the waypoints and with the camera pointing nadir it shouldn't be putting much strain on it.

Where are you seeing this error? That isn't something that gets reported in Map Pilot.

The gimbal went limp in the video screen so I checked the Dji app and it said gimbal motor overload. I did the same flight again and noticed it happened in the corners when it was turning.

There isn't likely much we can do about it within Map Pilot. Once the aircraft is flying we don't really have any control of it since it is just executing a waypoints flight. The only times we ever see that error is after a camera has been crashed and one of the motors gets a little out of alignment. The cornering maneuvers are far less stressful than most other actions. You could probably try to reproduce it in DJI Go just by doing some abrupt movements. Depending on how you have things built up on your Matrice it could be short on power too. There are a lot of variables to run down on the Matrice.

I tested it some more and it was the brake setting on guidance being to aggressive. Its also possible to overload the gimbal by accidentally tapping the gimbal control while flying a mission. I could not replicate results in DJI go app.
