Drone disconnects

I’m using a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with an RC Pro controller, and version 1.5.3e of Map Pilot Pro. If I fly the drone just using DJI’s Pilot 2 app I don’t have any problems at all. But as soon as I open Map Pilot Pro the controller and drone will start to disconnect and reconnect every few seconds. If I try to fly a mission the drone will not take off. I have done a lot of troubleshooting, and as soon as I clear all apps running and restart the controller then it will stay connected. But as soon as I open Map Pilot Pro it will disconnect.

Install 1.5.1e. That is the last version that we used before updating to the latest DJISDK.

Let us know if that behaves better. We may need to roll back our use of the new SDK.

I un-installed the other version I had, downloaded the new version from the link you provided and installed it. That did NOT fix the problem. If only DJI Pilot 2 is running there aren't any issues. As soon as I open Map Pilot Pro the drone will disconnect.

What is your aircraft firmware version?
What is your remote firmware version?

The Aircraft firmware is 07.00.0102

The Remote firmware is 02.00.0501

I did not update Map Pilot Pro. Reinstalling the app via the APK file did NOT change anything.

The light on the remote will stay green, but at the top of the screen it says "Aircraft disconnected" and the picture on the screen will go black and white.

Can you send me a link to an older version of Map Pilot Pro that I can try? I have been looking on the website and don't see anywhere to download different versions.

The current version is 1.5.3 and the link I provided previously was for 1.5.1 which is the last version we released with the old SDK which has been working well for a while.

Are you fully closing and disabling the DJI app as noted on our installations page?

“ Closing DJI Pilot or DJI Fly by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (in the system app switcher) is not enough. Tap Settings > Apps & notifications > DJI Pilot/Fly > Force Stop to fully close the DJI app before using Map Pilot Pro. To prevent the DJI app from launching on startup, tap Settings > Apps & notifications > Auto start application selection > None (or Map Pilot Pro).”

You can’t have both open at once.
