Just started receiving an error when uploading a flight plan "Waypoint uploading has timed out. This usually occurs because of poor connection to the aircraft or a lot of interference." We are uploading in the same locations we always have previously without issue.
The seems to be occurring a lot on older iOS devices that have updated to iOS 11. The new iOS update seems to eat up a lot of CPU/GPU and not leave a lot for Map Pilot. You may want to look into running with an iOS 10 device until you can upgrade to a newer, more powerful mobile device.

Would an iPad Air 2 (MGWL2X/A) be considered an older device? I have been getting the same behaviour since upgrading to iOS 11.1.
The iPad Air 2 has a A8X chip which should be able to handle things without issues. Things are all running slower on iOS 11 so far. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.
I have the same problem with the phantom 4 pro, mission with more than 400 photos. (iPad 4mini)
