Probable bug: Misidentified drone model

I have had this issue many times, but finally I have convinced myself that it is a Map Pilot Pro bug, not user error. (Hence not reported before).

I have a DJI Air 2S (née Mavic Air 2S), and it is the only model registered with Map Pilot Pro. As part of testing the newest version of Map Pilot Pro (5.4.15 on iPhone), I ran the same mission twice in a row. The first time the flight went without a hitch. The second time I got the error message "Detected Camera Mismatch. The detected camera (DJI Air 2S) does not match the camera (Mavic Pro) used to save this mission. Do you want to update the saved mission?"

So, somehow the program forgot which model I am using. I did not make any changes to the mission between the two flights.

LMK if I can help pin this down.

If it is a mission that was saved a long time ago it might have been saved when there was a bug that was saving missions incorrectly. 

Update the layout when given the chance and save it again before deleting the old one. 

Connecting an aircraft does not update the camera that is selected in the Settings. If there is no camera connected to the app it will use the value that is selected in the settings for determining the layout spacing and that information gets saved with any missions that are saved. Alternatively, if you have an aircraft connected those are the values that will be saved. The aircraft selection is part of the saved mission. 

If you have questions about it send the .mme file and screenshots of your settings.

I'm getting the same issue with my P4 Pro v2. This started in December, experienced it again this week. Layouts have been updated, issue still occurs.

If you don't update the layout and resave it nothing is going to change. If you have a specific mission you are thinking isn't working properly please update the layout and save it as a new mission and email it to mapping@dronesmadeeasy.com for inspection.
