Stitching photos from different times

I am using Maps Made Easy to stitch P3P photos into very detailed (1cm) maps for geological mapping. Lighting is often a problem with sharp shadows hiding important detail. Is it possible to combine morning and afternoon photos into a single image. I'm planning to make morning and afternoon maps when possible or better yet hope for a bright overcast day with no shadows.

Interesting question. It might turn out and it might not. Shadow edges are a big component of the features that get detected on images that have them. The question is whether or not there will be enough detail that is common between the two sets.

Run a small free test with a dataset to test it. This is the first time this We are interested to see what happens so we are interested to see what happens.
