FollowLatest version of MPP on Android _ DJI Mini 2 keeps re-linking during a mission
I was forced to update to latest MPP version yesterday. Everything working fine prior to this.
Ran a mission today and it kept saying "Aircraft Found" and wanting to fix a new home point and upload the mission. This would happen after about 10-15 images. I would upload again, the mission would recommence and then it would come up with "Aircraft Found" again.
New home points over water are concerning.
I tried to run a new separate adjacent mission and the same things kept occurring. I aborted, wasting a perfect flying day.
I had shut down DJI. I restarted MPP 3 times.

After finding your flight logs it looks like you were using a really old version previously and 3.1.12a. We haven't heard of this behavior happening with anyone else on that version. Is it only doing this in the air or is it doing it on the ground too? What about in the air but in very close to the remote?
It does look like you have some low signal strength areas before the dropout in in your most recently posted flight and it is a significant distance away.
Please try to do a smaller flight in closer to the remote to make sure things are working well. Track the aircraft with the remote to maintain the strongest signal strength you can.
Thanks for getting back to me Zane.
Yes the Version not working is 3.1.12a which I downloaded from the app store.
When I updated to latest version last week it would not connect to Mini 2.
Went to discussion and found link from you to download an older version, which I did, after removing latest version.
Tested version and it worked perfectly. Did a run on Monday under difficult circumstances - a lot of trees. Worked perfectly. On Monday app said I had 3 days to update. Once I finished my mission MPP said I had to update now. So I couldn't conduct second mission.
Tuesday - First mission was direct line of site with no obstructions and well within connection range. Started the run, then stopped saying it had detected new aircraft. This it kept doing. Abandoned that mission and then tried the more difficult one which you have commented on. MPP did the same thing.
The app states that if connection is lost the drone automatically RTH? It didn't do this. It just hovered until I ran through the upload again, recommenced mission then repeated "aircraft found" again and again. Aaaargh!!
Please make sure all of your flight logs are synced with the system so we can take a look at what is going on. Or please confirm that all of the affected flight logs are there.
3.1.12 has been our for a while and has been stable for other Mini 2 users so we would like to figure out what is going on here.
It would be helpful if you could test with another mobile device to rule that out as being the issue. Also, please try using a different cable if possible. We are just trying to narrow down what the issue could be.
If it is not executing an RTH that is a clue that the aircraft is getting kicked out of programmed flight mode due to something happening on the aircraft side of things. Is there anything showing up in the Aircraft Errors panel when this is happening?
Be sure to close all other drone related apps when using Map Pilot Pro to keep them from contending for the connection.
