Elevation incorrect

I have flown several missions over the exact same area (a 50 ac farm in NH) and have had excellent results.  I just completed a mission and discovered the elevations reported on the DEM display are incorrect (first time ever).  I fly this property with 87 x 95 overlap, at 250' AGL with terrain awareness on.  I noticed on the overlap report for this mission that there are 3 red dots (overlapping) right at my "home" point location.  Otherwise all of the images are shown to be at the highest level of overlap (13+).  The first image uploaded was the ground control image taken on the first leg of the mission.  There are no other ground control images.  Elevation reported appears to be about 230' lower than actual.  Ideas?

It appears that your images had the tags modified such that the RelativeAltitude tag was not found properly. This likely occurred while renaming your files with -1 and -2 and -3 at the ends to denote the different groups. You have to be REALLY careful not to disrupt the original tags or all of the correction features won't be able to do their jobs.

Without those tags in place, the GPS derived altitude is used. These are all reported around 295 meters (968 ft). You were flying 83.6 meters (274 ft) above the ground with Terrain Awareness so this pencils out to what you got as your output elevations.

The good news here is that you can adjust for this elevation offset using 3-4 GCPs and our Manual Realignment tool:

In the case where you are just doing elevation offsets you can just get the coordinates from the Map Detail page by right clicking on the map.

Your tags are really close though so we will look into accommodating them on future jobs. It is just weird little differences that are throwing it off.

Thanks so much for the quick feedback -- you guys are awesome!  I was trying to copy all the tags into one folder and had to rename to prevent overwriting same name.  I suppose I could leave in the original folders and just upload directly to MapsMadeEasy for processing without renaming.  Thanks for the info on how to correct.  Cheers - Tim
