My KML file when loaded to google earth is missing a lot of detail why is that.
Also the OBJ object is only in Black and white.

The KMZ file contains z information, but may take awhile to load into GE depending on your setup. What do you mean by "missing detail?"
The .mtl file you get with the set is required to color the model. Some apps will grab the .mtl automatically if it is in the same directory as the .obj.
Please see attached google earth shot of my test survey file as there is a lot of detail missing. I left it for 3 hrs and it still did not generate the missing sections. The JPEG image is fantastic
Sometimes objects come in buried beneath the surface.
Right click on the kmz file in the Places panel on the left and select properties.
Open the Altitude tab and see if raising the altitude exposes the model.
