Mission timing out on upload to Matrice 100

Hi we are having issues getting a mission to upload - I think the device has updated overnight to version 3.03 as it was working yesterday and previously under version 2.9 but now will not upload just times out after a few seconds.

Please take a screenshot that shows the layout you are trying to program but are getting a timeout on.

If you have some super sharp corners in your layout it will time out now depending on what overlap values you have.

Try adjusting your layout so there are less sharp corners or decrease your across track overlap to see if that will fix it.

We identified a bug last week that will cause this and will be submitting a fix for it this week.

We are doing a standard rectangular box mission and tried varying sizes from a 20 ha area down to a mission just overhead (just big enough to get two runs). All with 75% each direction overlaps

Please send the screenshot after you clear the timeout message. It likely has to do with the location of the takeoff point.

You can up the along track overlap and decrease the across track to get the same amount of overlap.

We already have a fix for it but we want to be sure that your case is covered.

There are quite a view super sharp angles in those flight paths. In the short term you will be able to get around this upload issue if you move the flight plan further away from the takeoff location and if you tweak the rotation a bit so it doesn't have any acute angles around 30 degrees or so it will likely work.

Look for version 3.0.4 later this week for a permanent fix.
