Starting last week, Map Pilot closes as soon as I press upload. I have tried multiple Ipads and cables with no resolve.
Any ideas?
Please update to 3.0.1. If that doesn't fix it please send us the crash report files so we can see what is going on.
You can get them by going to Settings -> Privacy -> Analytics -> Analytics Data. Then logs are alphabetical. Email them to mapping@dronesmadeeasy.com straight from the list.

The business edition is giving me the same problems but there is no update available after v2.9.2
Version 3.0.4 has been released and has a few fixes in it. Please download that.
Also, if you have the Image Footprint feature enabled please disable it in the settings.

Hi Zane. I see 3.0.4 in the app store but not for the business version which is still showing as version 2.9.2. Do you have a release schedule for the business users?
The Business version of the app gets released on a much slower schedule and is only released after the regular version has had not updates or fixes for at least two weeks to maximize business continuity for professional users.
Nothing has changed on Map Pilot Business since September 22, 2018.
Was it working well previously and the crash just started? Did you recently update the firmware on the aircraft?
We still have not seen your crash reports and don't know what iOS device, iOS version and aircraft you are experiencing this issue on.
Are you using the Image Footprint feature still?
We are on 3.0.4 and having the same issues.
I'm using an M210 and have been updating as per their firmware schedule, in response to the ongoing battery performance issues. The ipad is latest version (ipad6,11) with IOS 12.1(build #16B92).
I have the event reports from Dec 13, when I last experienced the problems. Image footprint was on at that time, but set to auto-clear, as I know it is resource-hungry. I will email the reports to mapping@dronesmadeeasy,com and hopefully your techs can identify something that will help me and the others having similar problems.

Please specify whether the app is full closing or if there is a timeout message. Please include the text of any messages you are getting so we can determine what might be going on.
To debug any crashing be sure to turn off the Image Footprint feature.
There is no error message or warning, the app just closes.
Any solution on that? Have the same problem. Downloaded latest version from apple store, iOS 11.4 - drone mavic pro. Once I press UPLOAD it crashes. spent 2 days to try figure it out, Were able to do it on 2 ocassions only and that is it - keeps crashing
