MME vs KMZ files

I've just downloaded Map Pilot Pro on my iOS device, to create KMZ missions for my DJI Air 3S. Even though I've selected the "Simple KMZ" output item in Settings, the app is only creating .mme files, which my DJI RC2 isn't recognizing. I've tried renaming the extension, but that didn't work.

Recommendations? What am I missing??

Thanks!

When you use the "Simple KMZ" Setting that makes it so instead of overwriting the files and putting them in the DJI Fly app automatically it puts the created KMZ file in a file of your choosing. Usually the Downloads folder. Saving a mission is what you are doing. You need to go through the whole KMZ export process shown in the video here:

Thanks. I'll try it again. I must be missing a step somewhere.

Does the iPhone version of DJIFly share some kind of database with the RC2, so I can drop files into the iPhone app, and have them get picked up by the RC2?

The iOS and RC2 combo is why we had to add the Simple Export method. If you are running the DJI app on the same mobile device as Map Pilot Pro then Map Pilot Pro can write the files to the DJI app. If you are on the RC2 you have to go through the whole hacky transfer and rename thing which, admittedly, sucks.

I've got it re: the file transfer sequence. The file that's being created isn't a KMZ file. It shows as an MME file. I'm using version 5.12.7 (build 021320251) of the app.

Here's what I have as the content of one of my plans, as displayed in Notepad.  I'm also not getting the "Open and Adjust" option in my RC 2 that you reference in the video.

Question... is there a chance that none of this is compatible with any Windows computer in the middle?

OK... I just found it. There is no Export Only button on my screen. It's an icon of a plane. When I hit that, the Export button showed up.

Hope this helps someone else!

Thank you!!
