What the actual f.......

I am so frustrated right now, I really hope someone can help me.

Trying to create a 3D map:

DJI M3E Drone.
2,200 Images
Using the DJI workflow....
On Elite Subscription and paid for addition points - so im over $100 dollars in.

Went to upload the images (DJI Workflow says there is a max of 600 AND 4000 image uploads.. so that's crystal clear)

Turns out its only 600 - WTF?! My project has 2,200 images.

But hey, i can waste time uploading another smaller maps to earn an additional 300 images per map - because I have all the time in the world and have nothing better to do than to upload dummy maps - the sheer joy of it all.

So I go to upload a project with 250 images, select 3D output because that is what I need - i get a popup saying I cannot do that for models over 5 gigapixels.. Jesus, my project is way under that.

This site is doing my head in. I just want to process a map, my map has 2,200 images and i need a 3D model output that I can embed into my website and have the ability to share with my client.

What do I need to do to make this happen without using a different service?

Lovely and professional! I understand that you are frustrated but nobody needs to be speaking like this in a professional setting.

We are sorry to hear you are having issues uploading your imagery. We throttle the number of files new users can upload to discourage running large amounts of data through the system before you have run smaller works through first. It is important to know what works and what doesn't before you spend a lot of points.

The maximum number of images that can be uploaded to the system goes up as you process more maps. To start, the maximum is the greater of 600 or 300 images per map you have run. For example, to run a 1000 image map you would need to have at least 4 maps processed first.

You can see this in Step 4 of the upload where is says the following:

"Maximum goes up 300 images for each map that gets processed up to the maximum of 4000."

We encourage you to run increasingly complex jobs to learn your way around the system but you would technically be able to continue with your intended dataset as long as you have the required number of maps in the system. They can be free/small if needed.

If you hover over the setting or hit the "Details" link next to the Full 3D setting it informs you of this limitation.

The good news is you probably don't want to actually be using that any way. 99+% of jobs run through our system just the normal 3D results without issue. There is almost never a need for rendering the vertical and overhanging areas as that setting is designed to enable. You shouldn't be using that setting for a large area only since it is designed for covering small areas and single structures with higher levels of overlap. If you ran a larger area with that system it wouldn't have proper coverage anyway. You can read more about it here:
