Not able to update location map after updating, cannot copy the public link so as to share the map with customer.

To update the Location Map after creation you drag the layers around at the bottom and hit the 'Update Location Map' button. 

Make sure you are hitting the green checkmark to accept the changes for the sharing controls as shown here:

Double click on the link text to select it all so you can share it. There are lots of ways to select the text.
