Yes, you are using a consumer grade GPS that is quoted to be accurate to within 10 meters. Depending on the GPS fix of the aircraft the results can (and will) be off by a bit.
The good news is you can easily realign this using our realignment tool to make it line up perfectly.

Side note: there is no guarantee that Google Earth is more accurate and our results could possibly be more accurate in an absolute sense. Use the process above if you want them to line up though.
