Set camera direction and angle / android

Hello dear drones Made Easy Team,

first of all congratiulations for your really great app which is better than all other solutions out there!

Apart from being happy with your app I still have some wishes or suggestions:

1. In order to get better models I´d like to be able to set the direction and inclination of the camera for each flight. Havig this possebility it would be possible do fly an area several times: e.g. one nadir flight, one front facing flight (with about 45° inclination) and one side facing flight (with about 45° inclination) -> the resulting models should gain a lot of quality - especially in the case of complex man made structures.

2. I imagine you hear this quite frequently but once more... an android version of your app would be great. I´ve quite some friends & clients who frequently ask me how they can use your app on their android phone... :-)

3. A possebility to plan linear missions with parallel flight lines for mapping rivers, streets or stuff like this would be really nice!

Thank`s a lot for taking these ideas into account and keep up your great work!

Yours

Lars

Thanks for the kind words.

1. We haven't added any 3D capture modes because there isn't really a one-method-fits-all way to plan the flight and have it work out well most of the time. Good 3D models require lower flight. For now, the workaround is to manually adjust the gimbal after the aircraft heads towards the first waypoint. Adjusting it upwards about 30 degrees seems to work the best. Doing this on two consecutive mission 90 degrees to each other collects OK detail for the vertical surfaces without getting any horizon.

2. We are not planning to release an Android version. There is no way to "convert" an app and it would basically require a full redevelopment.

3. We are looking at it still. There are a couple of safety issues that are pretty hard to overcome and we are waiting on a feature from DJI before adding it.
