Measurements on maps

Hi - I want to map a large field and then take some area and length measurements.

I am able to render the map and place the annotations on it and then save it - however, how do I output the map along with those annotations, please?

I can`t see how you download the annotated map with all the measurements that I`ve taken so that I can include them in a report - but I can`t see to be able to get a downloadable copy complete with annotations.

Also, if I create a location map complete with different layers - how can I output that for viewing or is it only viewable in the Maps Made Easy dashboard?

Thanks

Gary

There is not really any way to save the two together. You can save the annotations separately in a KML file using the "KML of Annotations" link. That KML file can then be viewed in Google Earth or lots of other softwares. The GeoTiff and KMZ files can also be viewed easily in other software.

There is no way to save the combined Location Map without some manual merging work with external software. We recommend downloading all of the GeoTiff files and then using QGIS to do a raster merge on them (combine them). The Location Map can be shared in web map form using the public links or the iFrame embed codes just like single layer maps.
