Icons and Titles

It would be great if your icons, and text were either larger or able to be set larger in settings.  I use an Air 2 and the dashboard at the top is tiny.  By far the smallest of the half dozen apps I have used.  If I'm battling sunlight, the telemetry is lost.

Please consider this option,  thanks !

We know that the text and buttons are a bit small. We currently only have one layout that is the same for all devices for everything from the iPhone 5s to the iPad Pro. It is pretty hard to fit all of these controls on the smaller screens so we had to make them small. We do realize that it is a bit of a waste on bigger screens though and plan on adding an iPad layout with bigger text and buttons in a future release.

Hi Guys,

Just a shameless bump on asking for an ipad friendly GUI scheme.

Thank You!

A lot of the controls will be larger in our next release since we have redone most of the controls and settings.

Bump

I appreciate you guys improving the software.  It would be terrific if you could bring the scale of text, telemetry and icons up to what they need to be on tablets.

Thanks!

Okay Guys.  Been pretty patient.

Are you really going to improve the UI or has this dropped off the list?

In addition to the text being way too small for a larger iPad.  The controls on the left, particularly the elevation slider is so far too the left that your finger goes off the screen and releases the slider half the time when trying to lower elevation.  There needs to be some padding to the left of the controls.  Also,  a direct entry field,  or at least a +/- adjuster is becoming standard controls when "close enough" isn't really a great option.

Please. Let's have a little love for the UX.

Ryan,  you have had at least 2 maybe 3 updates I think.  Will you ever enlarge the dialog text on the ipad?  And,  more importantly,  move the Altitude setting away from the left margin so that the edge of the screen does not interfere with editing the mission height.

I just downloaded Tag Pilot. Looks very nice. The UX is what I've been waiting for in Map Pilot on ipad. Any chance you can steal one of the Tag Pilot engineers and get them to tune up the GUI of Map Pilot ? ;)

Same engineers... Gutting an app is a lot harder than setting it up for larger devices from the start. Tag Pilot only support iPhone 6 and up while Map Pilot supports the iPhone 5S and its much smaller screen.

We are in the process of reworking Map Pilot.

I installed the beta and activated the ipad scaled view (high visibility mode).  The icons are sized much more appropriately.  It took awhile, but yay!

I didn't get a chance to fly a mission with it yet but will get to it in the next couple of days.

Thanks!
