Official comment
Image related settings such as white balance and exposure time/mode will not affect the previously planned mission. Changing the max speed will affect the number of batteries it will take but should still work fine.
When in the field you can change any setting and hit the unlock button to be able to edit the mission and resave it.
The only think you need data service for is to download the basemap tiles. Once you have those you can do whatever you want.
