Import Project Boundary

One feature that would really help would be the ability to import previously defined KML or shapefiles to define the outer polygon. This would allow for office planning with precision for GIS jobs and then easy field deployment. I love the app this is just a wishlist item that would really help make it useful for work

We will put it on the list. The only way it could possibly happen is if you were to put it somewhere on the internet and type the URL into our app so we knew where to download it from.

Maybe linking to a dropbox or google drive public link would allow easy hosting?

Either of those would work for us. I would prefer Google Drive. Something like a google earth polygon file?

I am no computer boffin...
Is there no way that you can "copy and paste" the PC generated KML file (or a converted version thereof) into a folder on my iPAD by perhaps using something like iTools or iFunbox?

I believe as long as an APP shares it's folders to iTunes or something like that, you can open the storage folders of an APP...

I have been able to access the GO App's storage folders before. With iOS 9 that changed. GO will now have to share their folders first before it can be accessed again.

But then I'm just pottering around very clever stuff ;-)

I agree as well, this will make things so much faster doing the preflight planning via desktop with .gpx boundaries to trace around.
