That is a funny workaround idea that could work, but we don't explicitly support vertical mapping.
In the meantime, do you offer the possibility to fly facades and adjust the overlap etc.?
Or is there a trick? For example: set a path and then repeat it x-times and only change the alitude?

Thank you for the answer. I also think it could be possible.
Additional questions about "vertical" measurement:
- if the facade (or the building) has been successful processed as a 3D model, can I measure in the model? Areas, length, width, angles, volume, etc.?
- or is it even possible to create a wireframe model from the outer contours, which can then be imported into CAD?
We only do orthophoto mapping which does not allow for making measurements in the vertical direction in the web interface.

Demand: do I understand this correctly? Even if the building is available as a 3D model, it is ONLY possible to measure in plan view - i.e. 2D?

Is there an export function for CAD programmes?
Only horizontal measurements are available in the web interface. Elevation numbers are available by hovering but they are not something that can be marked up with the tools that are available.
If you want to make 3D measurements you can use any of the output files that are available.
