Hi,
My question is how to calculate the resolution of an image. I have a customer requesting a bid. He wants 2" resolution. The question being how high will I need to shoot with my Phantom 3 pro to get 2 inch resolution.
I can see replies to the same question and the answers refer to the mission planner. I went to it and see where to enter a bunch of perameters but I don't see where the resulting resolution would be.
I have to get a bid out right away and could really use a quick simple answer.

The resulting GSD is to the right of the map in the estimator in cm/pixel.
2 inch GSD with a P3 requires flight at about 120 meters.
In Map Pilot, the resolution is calculated for you as you adjust the Altitude.
