Yes, Remote ID is the issue. Please update to 5.4.10 for iOS or 1.1.1 for Android. Both of these have the Remote ID stuff in it.
You need to be sure to have location services enabled for the apps for it to work properly.
Hi, yesterday I attempted to do a saved mission using my DJI Air 2s. The drone wouldn't take off. I shut down the apps a number of times with the same issue, the drone wouldn't take off starting the mission. I was able to get the mission to go by first lifting off using the DJI Fly app and then shifting to the Map Pilot Pro. The mission completed successfully. I have never had this issue with my many previous same mission flights.
DJI recently had a firmware update. Could that be the issue? The new firmware installed RID and other features. The current DJI firmware must be different than the past SDK for the Air 2s.
How does this get resolved. Will DJI offer a new SDK for the Air 2s, or am I stuck with a drone now not supported in Maps Pilot Pro?
Regards,
Richard
