Label for Polygons

  1. It would be very helpful if there were a label property included with a drawing object with some basic parameters. For example, when doing volumes, I always provide an image that corresponds to the table of volumes that I provide (shown in image below).  Currently, I have to screen-capture the Map Detail elevation, open the elevation jpg in a photo editor and add a simple label.  If that could be done in MME when drawing the polygons, it would be so much better.
  2. Also, an option to download the current view from the Map Detail page would be nice too in order to show any annotations (hopefully with labels!) rather than using screen capture.

Thanks for your consideration, guys!

The labelling has been on the list for a while... That whole system is due for a rework and will be revisited when we finish up a new system we are working on currently.

The snapshot thing has also come up before hasn't been something that is requested often. We will look into it again. Getting just an image of the map isn't too bad but capturing the annotations and open popups is more difficult.

I too need to be able to use annotations / labels. Having to take a screen shot then paste it into Word to manually add them is not the best process.

Measure Ground Control lets you make two free maps a month and you can add shapes, annotations and labels as they partner with Pix4d. There is a screen shot button to save an image of whatever is being displayed on the map at the time which is great when working in 3d mode as well.

We will see how this goes for a bit and them will likely add it to polygons.
