IOS update now I can't create maps

I was using MapPilot on an iPad today that was just upgraded to the newest IOS. When I tried to create a new map nothing happened when I tapped the screen to start outlining the area I wanted to map. I tried everything I could think of to get it to work. So I switched to a second iPad that I haven't had a chance to upgrade yet. I could create the map as usual but the screen was flicking badly. I was using an Inspire 1 with an X5 camera. The controller had just been updated as well with that silly database update and the requirement to take a test before we could fly. We tried the option to skip the test (you can do that four times) but we found that the upload and start options in the upper right were missing. We reset everything, went in to the Go App and took the test. Then when we closed the app and went in to MapPilot the option to upload the mission was there. We managed to fly our mission but the screen was slowly flashing on and off the entire time. Any idea what would cause this?

It sounds like you need to update to the latest version of Map Pilot which has fixed the flashing issues associated with the iOS 11 update.

You have to be connected to the aircraft with the red position triangle showing the current location in order to be able to upload a flight.

The flashing and the inability to create a map were separate issues on two different iPads. I managed to fix the issue of not being able to create a map by uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it. The iPad with the flashing issue had an older IOS version on it so hopefully once that's updated the issues will disappear. Thanks for your help.
