Is there a way to reset the Map Pilot 1.2.2

There is no way to downgrade apps unless you have iCloud backups you can go back to. The newest version of 1.4.1 should be much more stable than 1.2.2 anyway. From the sounds of your support emails you need to update your aircraft to the most recent firmware version too.
