Maps do not line up Georeferenced

Hello
I mapped a pond and imported the photos and georeferenced it. The completed map is slightly off from the underlaying map. How do I correct this and what mistake might I have made?

Basically, there is very little way to tell who is right and wrong. The DJI aircraft, while among the best available, still has a pretty cheap GPS receiver and antenna so a little error is to be expected.

You can correct the error by manually georeferencing the output GeoTiff using GIS software such as QGIS.

It also looks like you could use a bit more overlap which will give more accurate results.

Yes I agree with the overlapping, I am waiting for the new release of map pilot. Currently I have to use another 3rd party map app so once that is released I am sure the overlapping will be a lot bettet
