Mode Switch setting?

Is there any special sequence to setting the mode switch from P to A to F? I tried a run, but something didn't work right so I landed and fiddled with the DJI Go settings. I shut down DJI Go, then restarted Map Pilot, and then reload a new run (leaving the mode switch in F). The aircraft flew the circuit, but took no pictures. I'm not sure I remember the sequence above, but I had to restart the flight to get it to take the pictures the next time. What could cause the flight to run without taking the pictures? What are the dependencies about flipping the switches and their order?

It is certainly strange that it would fly the route but not be able to take the images. We have heard a lot of issues with people switching back and forth between PAF settings and between Map Pilot and DJI Go.

Generally, we like to have it in F when we start Map Pilot and keep it there unless there is an emergency. If you forget, Map Pilot will give a warning and remind you to be in F. It used to require the user to switch out of F and then back into it but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

Every time you switch the PAF switch, assume that it isn't fully in the selected mode for 2-3 seconds.
