It sounds like you may have switched the aircraft out of programmed flight mode to land. We recommend keeping the aircraft in programmed flight mode at all times and just using the sticks to adjust the landing. If you must switch out of programmed flight mode you need to make sure it is back in the programmed flight mode before landing and the warning recommends. Otherwise the waypoint sync will be off.

If this was not the case and the aircraft deviated from the blue path verification that was acknowledged at takeoff then you may have a hardware issue. This sounds like a waypoints sync issue though.

If you continue to have issues please send us the flight log from the affected flights.

Thanks for your response.

The following statement, was taken from the article that you referenced. That article recommends that you “manually take off”  and “upload “the reminder of the flight.

(After the aircraft lands, power it down normally, swap the battery and power it back up normally. As soon as the camera preview window has live video in it again, the aircraft is ready to “manually takeoff” and “upload” the remainder of the flight.)

Does that mean that I should take off using the remote controller and then upload the remainder of the mission. The choices given in the map pilot prompts  is “upload reminder of mission” and “start Mission”.  When I have followed the on screen prompts, the aircraft flies straight back to the abandonment point, but then it flies at an angle back to a previous position and re-tracks several photo dots.

If someone could list the precise steps in order, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for help

I thought I should add that I didn’t think to watch for “blinking green flight indicator lights” and “Red Arow” on screen. Amongst everything else, I’ll watch for those indicators at my next test/training flight.
