Interesting... Both of those aircraft are Virtual Stick controlled so I would expect them to operate the same in that respect. 

What is the RC signal looking like? Since it is Virtual Stick it is going to require a super strong RC connection to keep issuing control commands. If the signal drops out the aircraft will be left to hover. So make sure you are pointing your RC appropriately. 

Make sure all your log files are synced with your account so we can see what is going on. The last file I see in your account is from Aug 1. 

I see your logs now. That is a REALLY big hill (roughly 1500 ft top to bottom). 

It doesn't look like you have any waypoints that are lower than the takeoff location, not that that should matter. With that much ascending and descending it looks like it is going through the battery pretty quickly. From the most recent flights it looks like the RTH was triggered by the low battery and then you took over and flew it in manually. 

Also, and probably most seriously, the batteries are getting super hot which is probably not helping things. I would try to operate in a cooler part of the day and really try to keep things out of the sun and inside an air-conditioned car before user to avoid a more serious issue (like the aircraft falling out of the sky).
