I previously have created orthophotos with Drone Deploy, but did not continue after trial. (too expensive). Now, I want to import and analyze those orthophotos for percent vegetative cover. Can I do that? If so, how?
You would have to process the data with us first before being able to make any measurements. We don't import GeoTiff imagery from other sources. You could probably do it with your existing files using Google Earth or GIS software to measure the areas.

I know it may mean adding a few external hard drive’s, but I always keep the raw imagery in case I need to switch software provider. That may not help with your past flights, but you may be able to do what you’re looking to accomplish with QGIS (freeware). It has a bit of a learning curve, but well worth it.

Also noticed that Tag Pilot now has an acreage measurement -- will give it a try tomorrow before our weather gets cold again.
We are beta testing it currently and hope to have something out in the next month or so. We keep adding more cool stuff to it so it has been pushed back a lot from the initial plan.
