Return To Home failure

I was assuming that once the low battery level warning alarm triggers, the aircraft will automatically return to home after a ten second countdown where there has been no input/action from the pilot (as described in the Low Battery RTH section of the DJI manual)

What you have described above and mentioned in the link is labelled as "Battery Power Triggered Return To Home" Is that the same as what DJI calls "Smart RTH"? 

If the answer to the above question is yes and I disable Smart RTH on the DJI Go app, will the Map Pilot App still consider this Battery Power Trigger RTH as one of the conditions to return home?

The reason I ask all these questions is that I find that these Battery Power Trigger and Timer RTH conditions to be insufficient for me (safety margin wise) when there are so many variable conditions - especially head winds.

I would rather have the RTH trigger (preferably automatically) once the battery reaches my preset low level alarm. I believe this will give me more control and a better safety margin. Is this possible to set up automatically? Would I just have to manually press the Home button on the screen / remote control once it starts beeping?

The process you are describing is likely how DJI Go works. 

A "Battery Power Triggered Return To Home" means the aircraft has determined that it needs to head home now in order to make it back before running out of power. Smart RTH is probably a feature in DJI Go. Map Pilot operates as described in the article and doesn't likely depend on other settings.

If you want it to operate off your set point we recommend you push the RTH button or the button in the app when you start getting the beep for low battery at your set trigger point.

Today i did my first flight with map pilot in 2 mode : regular mode in fixed altitude and terrain awareness mode .

in both of them after mission completed P4 return above home point at 100 meter altitude and didn't landing .

i pressed RTH but nothing happened .finally landed manually .

please tell me what was the problem ?

That could be a lot of different things. Please look in the CSV log file for the reason in the App Warning or DJI Diagnostic columns. 

You can email or AirDrop the CSV file from the list by doing a long press on it. It says this at the bottom of the screen. Then you open it in your favorite spreadsheet editor like Excel.
