Phantom 2 FVP kit + GoPro Hero 4

Hi there DME, can I just confirm that the above kit will accommodate the new GoPro Hero 4? There seem to be conflicting posts on other forums, e.g. having to grind away a small part of the Zenmuse 3D gimbal to accommodate a small protruding button on the H4 that's not on the H3. Also are there any issues with the video link given the Hero 4's higher video specs? Again some users are reporting probs (although they could be using different FVP kit). Thanks in advance - my finger is hovering over the "purchase" button for this kit but I want to be sure on this point before letting loose!

The Hero 4 does work with the H3-3D gimbal. We have a had a few in the shop already that worked just fine. The grinding out of a small piece of the gimbal mount seems to optional as it just barely touches the options button on the side of the Hero 4. As far as FPV goes, there was no problems at all with the testing we have done in the store so far.

I purchased the latest version of the Phantom 2 w/ H3-3D from Dronesmadeeasy last Friday, had them set up the Go Pro 4 and it works just fine. I too was concerned about the need to grind down the gimbal to provide relief for the new settings button, but it hasn't been necessary. Both photos & video works fine. Finally just want to shoot out to everyone at DME for fantastic customer service. I went in to buy a couple more batteries from them for my vision plus, & found out they already had the newest version of the Phantom 2 in stock, so I bought it, they had it configured & ready to fly two days later w/ the go pro installed... Thanks DME!!!
