Is it true that map pilot pro can only do mapping missions with virtual stick commands, and not waypoint missions that are uploaded to the drone? If so, will mapping missions via waypoints ever be supported on the mini 4 pro?

We have made it default to being Virtual Stick due to the waypoint system in that aircraft not working as well as it does for everything else. You can enable waypoint flight by disabling the "Force Virtual Stick" setting in the Advanced Settings section of the Settings.
I checked this in my advanced settings. I do have that "Force Virtual Stick Control" setting toggled off. However, every time I try to fly a mission, I get the splash-screen that says "Virtual Stick commands from Map Pilot Pro are controlling your aircraft...." Any idea why this is?
If that is the case then it has been fully disabled. You can try to use a version before 3.1.7 which is when it was disabled.
Ah darn, ok. You mentioned the waypoint system in the aircraft not working well - how did this manifest? What problems arose?
It behaved differently than other aircraft in how it handled waypoints of different altitudes and had general loading issues. DJI added it late and it was kind of a surprise but it never worked as well as other waypoint aircraft. It In the only Mini that was ever equipped with it so we are thinking it might have had issues with the resources being limited.
