This are both pre-takeoff errors that are occurring because the app isn't communicating with the aircraft very well. Timeouts like this are usually caused by poor RC connection but can also occur when the remote is too close to the aircraft. Try moving the AC 10-20 ft about from the remote to see if that fixes the issue.
