It's separate model or single cloud dot?

The DEM is a Digital Elevation Model. The output is a 32bit float image that has the elevation of every point in the map at 4X the photo image's GSD. DSM is the same thing.
It contains structures and vegetation so it is not a DTM.

But in forest land, it's possible to extract DTM (only terrain) with interpolation from point on the ground and cut the biomass layer.

Since we use photographs for creating the elevation model and visible light photography does not penetrate canopy like lidar does, there is no way for us to provide a DTM from your data. If you want to filter the DEM we provide further to get rid of surface features that is up to you. There are packages to do it in QGIS.
I work on ArcGIS or civil 3D autodesk. Know you what way for this filter ?
