Motors wont start

I have done all the pre-flight as instructed and I have not have this issue before. I have the phantom 2 with the gopro gimble and dj6 controller. When i press the sticks to start the motors, nothing happens. If I move the left stick, left and right the gimble turns left and right. It is like the controller is connected to the gimble and not the phantom 2. Any suggestions?

The gimbal movement is totally normal.

There are a few reasons why your motors may not be starting up. Plug into the software assistant and update your firmware, run an advanced calibration and possibly calibrate your controller in the RC assistant.

That should get you up and flying in no time.
