I understand that I have to create a number of maps to get my maximum number of photos to increase to the 4000 limit. However, my number count has gone down with the more maps I create. I started at 900 max, now I only have 600 I can upload.
"Select maximum of 608 and minimum of 20 images. Remember to include a Ground Reference Image.
Maximum goes up 300 images for each map that gets processed up to the maximum of 4000."
I created 5 maps yesterday, so I should have had my maximum go up by 1500 images. I should be sitting at a limit of 2400 images if my understanding of the Maximum goes up 300 per map created, and my math is correct.
Can I get an explanation of this?

The "Select maximum of XXX" statement tells you how many images you can possibly select given the amount of points you have. You can't select 1500 images if you only have enough points to process 608.
Okay, so I just need to purchase the points first to get be able to upload more? It would just be nice to upload the images first so the system would tell you how many points you need to purchase before guessing how many.

You can always know the points by following the calculation on thr pricing page. 200 points per gigapixel of imagery being processed, 50 20 megapixel images is one gigapixel. Map Pilot Pro also tells you how many points are needed to process the imagery for a mission.
