Map Link

Is there some way to include a marker at a specific GPS coordinate that is in the map link?

For example this would be a way to have a maker on OSMhttp://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=38.9868&mlon=-94.6050#map=12/38.9868/-94.6050

You are actually the first person to ever ask this... Yes! We have that.

The link format is the normal PUBLIC version of the link followed by Lat/Lon/Zoom

As an example from our Samples page:

The normal link is this: https://www.mapsmadeeasy.com/maps/public/fd8859995dae42e59668cfedc0da9611/

The customized link might be this:

https://www.mapsmadeeasy.com/maps/public/fd8859995dae42e59668cfedc0da9611/32.627037/-116.938841/21/

The highest zoom level for high resolution drone stuff is usually 21 or 22. Zoomed out pretty far is about 15.

Enjoy!

That helps a lot! Any way to get a marker at that point also?

You would need to use the marker tool on the left side tool bar to add a marker. The URL just handles the location and zoom level. The location and zoom level can also be modified in the Map Detail page by adjusting the Default Center Latitude, Default Center Longitude and Default  Zoom Level. That way you don't have to send around an even longer URL.

In my use case, I'm really looking for a solution where I can pass a marker/pin from the URL because I will be linking to one of potentially 100s of different points on the map.

You can use the URL to point to anywhere with as many links as you want. The markers have to be drawn using the marker tool.
