Thank you. we have been doing that but have to run DJI go in the back to be able to have map pilot working without restriction.

I have the same P4Problem. I got the second part of the mission work after closing MP, opening GO4, closing GO4 and opening MP again as suggested.

Flight speed was reduced to 2.7 m/s, toooo slow. Estimated time was around 7 minutes and with 2 batteries it took 22min.
Is that speed set depending on camera speed? Mine was 1/120?

The aircraft being slowed down due to long exposure times is not related to this issue. 

You can turn off the Light Conditions based Speed Control in the settings but you will likely be getting blurry images. 

1/120 is a long exposure time and will limit your speed.

Ok. I know those are different things. My fault was not to remove ND filter.

Then the plane keeps speed and takes photos, it does not move and stop to take the photo in still position, is that so?

Another question: one of points/photos eas missing, then that part of the map was not accurate. What do you suggest?

Today we tried to map 47ha of a query. I have updated our inspire 1 to the latest firmware v.1.11.1.50

It seems the issue is still not fixed and we cannot fly any mission with multiple batteries. 

I can load the initial mission, the drone takes off until the batterie goes low, I use the screen RTH function, let the drone land, swap the batterie, software says the mission will pick up where left and then... boom... "Flight outside maximum flight radius"

This issue seems to go on for a while now. I have a very important mission to do and we run out of time. I need this working on Tuesday. How can I fix this? Do you have a work around? Can I have some help here please?

Axel: The updated version 2.6.0 has not been released yet. For 2.5.3 you will need to open DJI Go after every power up as is suggested in the other posts. 

This all make's me wonder how do i do mapping on locations where i don't have internet access ? And there are a couple in the middle of nowhere, these mapping locations are not normally near big towns.

This has nothing to do with internet connectivity. The latest firmware update requires authorization from DJI Go, not any server online, to fly. Our new version of the app will be able to provide this authentication.

Yes, I am aware of that, but that doesn't help my multi batterie missions, or does it ;-) I need that resolved or I loose a huge project. :-(

Axel. I am at the moment running DJI go in the background it seems to work with the multi battery missions. I use and Ipad AIr 2 and iet seems to handle the processing. I know it is not the correct thing to do but the other option is to go into DJI go every time you change battery.

@Riaan Pheiffer: I tried that too. I have the iPad Air 2 myself, but every time I switch from DJI Go to the Maps made Easy software, I get the error. Believe me, I have tried everything, but no luck.

I think we need the new release quick. Does anyone know, when the new version is available? I am willing to use a BETA to test if that helps me to get me task done on Tuesday. Wasted already several hours yesterday at the customer site and the customer is not happy :-(

Axel, in the meantime you can build the mission with DJI Ground Station Pro and then process the images here

@Daniel: I tried that, but GS Pro doesn't has the setting for Altitude Offset. I will try but not sure if the result is what I need. Do you think I can calculate the offset into the altitude settings from start and getting the same result?

Maybe you can add your offset manually in GSP and then substract it to all pics using exiftool -Altitude-=......

Version 2.6.0 has been released and no longer requires DJI Go to be accessed between batteries. 

We are having the same 2017 problem of an "Over maximum flight radius" error, and here it is 2023! We are using a Mavic Pro 2 drone, a 16.7.2 iOS iPad, and MapPilotPro version 5.5.8. Is this de ja' vu all over again in terms of an SDK or software issue?

That error is something that comes from the aircraft. It basically says the programmed flight is outside the maximum radius setting in the aircraft. This is not a Map Pilot Pro setting. 

Sometimes when you update your firmware some settings will get reset. Go into the DJI app and make sure there is no maximum value set. Also, make sure it isn't in beginner mode and stuff like that. 

Check that the home point is well defined so it isn't thinking you are somewhere else and therefore out of the maximum radius. 

The answer to the 30m limit and the flight radius error is to make sure you are recently logged into your DJI account. It may help to log out and then log back in. Then do this:

1. Go into DJI Fly
2. Attempt to start up the motors manually
3. Sign in, accept, agree, consent to any NFZ warnings
4. Attempt the start up the motors manually (“manually” = sticks down and in)
5. If successful, close the DJI Fly and go back into MPP without turning drone/rc off
6. Attempt to start up the motors in MPP manually. 
7. If successful, stop the motors manually and use Map Pilot Pro. 
8. If not successful, go back into the DJI app and make sure all applicable zones are unlocked.
